Frequently Asked Questions

What is FareSpotter?

FareSpotter offers you an easy way to search multiple travel sites in order to save you both time and money when booking travel. There are tons of great travel sites on the web, but what you really need is a service that helps you compare prices on multiple travel sites more easily. With FareSpotter, you only have to search once, and FareSpotter connects you to your favorite travel sites to help you find the best deals on flights, hotels, and car rentals quickly and painlessly. Once you use FareSpotter to start your travel search, we're confident that you'll never start your travel planning anywhere else!

How does FareSpotter work?

  1. You enter your travel itinerary on FareSpotter.
  2. Then, you select multiple top travel sites to compare fares and rates.
  3. FareSpotter takes you to the travel sites you selected, where you can review and compare different travel options without having to enter your itinerary again and again.
  4. You can then book your flight, hotel, rental car, or vacation package directly at the travel site of your choice with the assurance that you've gotten the best deal out there.

Do I book my reservation through FareSpotter?

No. FareSpotter is a travel search agent and not a travel agency or travel provider. Once FareSpotter connects you with the travel sites of your choice, you book your travel directly with them or through one of their partners.

What if I have a problem with a reservation or need to make a change?

Since you do not book any travel directly with FareSpotter, should you encounter problems with your travel purchase or need to make a modification to your travel plans, you should contact the travel service provider with whom you booked your travel.

Does FareSpotter collect any personal information?

FareSpotter does not ask for your personal information, be it your name, address, phone number and credit card number. If you make a travel reservation through one of the travel services providers we have connected you to, they may ask for such information in order to book a hotel, flight, car rental or vacation package. They do not share any such personal information with us. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy. If you sign up for our newsletter, for obvious reasons we will require you to enter your email address and your home city, but we require no other information than that.

How does FareSpotter make money?

We do not make money when you book your travel, nor do we charge you any money for using our travel comparison site. We are paid by the travel sites only when users are referred to them through our site.
